Training:
Training is made in the training forum, everyone makes their own topic for training there. In the training area pokemon may learn moves that you wish to teach them (like the TM system in the game). In the training area please train the certain move you wish to teach. Any move you wish to teach takes a certain amount of time to train. PLease check this site to find the move you wish to learn and so that youd know which of the categories it is http://www.pokemondb.co.uk/move/all Note that we will check what time the first and last post was posted. Also, only two posts (beeing the first and the last) will NOT be good enough. There must be a minumum 3 posts inbetween them. That goes for any level of training. If anyone sees anyone breaking these rules please correct him/her. Should anyone break the rules purposely it may result in a week ban. You may train one move at a time for each pokemon you have.

Easy moves (40-25 PP)= 1 hour training any lv pokemon can learn them. This moves are rather simple, no big deal.

Normal moves(20-15 PP)=5 hours training lv 10 pokemon can learn them. These moves are rather moderate and can put on quite the show.

Hard moves (10 PP)= 10 hours training lv 20 pokemon can learn them. These are great moves with some stunning effects and forms.

Ultimate moves (5 PP)= 24 hours of training. (yes it sound sharsh but imagine learning 3 ultimate moves in a day, right?) lv 30 pokemon can learn them. These moves are ultimate and usually come in as finishers. Very powerfull, very spectacular, very dangerous. Don't be afraid to make the earth shatter or the seas rise describing these moves.

Lving system:
The leveling system might sound tricky, but you'll catch on soon enough. The minimum level of any pokemon is lv2. Don't ask why. There are three stages of leveling: fighting, brawlng and clashing.

FIGHTING:
From lv2 to lv10- every trainer must level up on wild pokemon. The way to do so is to write a RP text that is both detailed and describtive. The length of the text itself would depend on what pokemon you are fighting. For example- it's not like you're going to fight for eight paragraphs with a caterpie, however a tyranitar...get the picture?

Please always put the battle into ONE POST to avoid drowning in posts from other players and do make sure to make paragraphs. Once the post has been made- copy the link, go to the forum named "Pokemon registrations", enter the topic called "Pokemon leveling (lv 2-10)" and paste the link. Then WAIT for approval, as the responsible admin will check and either approve or deny the level. Please note that if the admin will not add a short sentence of few words, explaining why it was denied, the player has a full right to ask and recieve one.

During the "fighting period" you CAN fight against other trainers, but victory will not raise your pokemon's level. One wild pokemon can fight one of your pokemon. Meaning you cannot fight the wild pokemon with one of your pokemon and then switch to another pokemon, expecting them both to level up from the battle. Neither can anyone fight a pack of wild pokemon with one of their oen pokemon and hope to gain three levels in one go.

However if you DO wish to level more than one pokemon in a single battle, you must make sure that each pokemon has an opponent each to fight. As in three of your pokemon- against three wild pokemon. Neither your pokemon, neither the wild pokemon may interfere in onther "team's" fight or help each other out. Of course the post will be accordingly longer, as it will take more space to describe such a battle. Good luck though.

During this leveling period it is ENOUGH to bash up the wild pokemon, make them flee because of wounds ect. In short- we just wanna see a good fight. We don't need you to win or KO here. You could even retreat because your pokemon got hurt too much and still get a level. Just impress us.

BRAWLING:
Brawling begins from level 10 and it works the same way as the "fighting" period, but with a seemingly small difference. Now each pokemon you battle in the wild must be KO'ed to recieve a level.

And of course most of you would now go "pff, I'll just write I KO'ed the thing in the end"- wrong. KO'ing a wild pokemon is harder than a mere bash. We will require a longer post and a decent reason for putting the wild pokemon out. This isn't the game. Going "Used ember and made wild pokemon faint because it has no more energy" isn't wort two craps around here. Please make a convincing and logicall explanation.

Just as in the "fighting" period- you must copy and paste the link to your fight. This time- in a topic called "Pokemon leveling (10-15). Wait for approval.

CLASHING:
Once hit level 15- game time is over. Now comes some serious challenging. From here on you will no longer level on wild pokemon. From here on you battle trainers!

Challenge someone, win and get a level. Any pokemon that has fought (meaning a minimum of 4 posts of beeing active in the battle) will gain one level each. The trainer that has lost faces a difficult conciquence- each pokemon that had been called back for no onge rbeeing able to fight looses one level each. Now don't freak out, your pokemon's safe point is level 15 and it cannot go below that.

In case a trainer gives up during a battle- the pokemon that was currently batling at that very moment doesn't loose a level unless the trainer gave up AFTER the pokemon had no more strength left to fight. Let's say a trainer is using his fourth pokemon and suddenly gives up in the middle of it all. The three pokemon that have lost will loose one level, however the remaining three, including the one that was battling at the very moment, will not. If the trainer would have given up AFTER his fourth pokemon was taken out- the four pokemon would de-level and the remaining two wouldn't. Simple, really.

Max level (for now) is level 30 and once you reach this. It serves as your second safe zone- no de-leveling from here. One thing, though. Once your pokemon level 29, if you loose it -2lv. This only applies for level 29. So to reach max level and finally be able to evolve your pokemon and teach them ulti-moves, you must pick your last fight very carefully.

Good luck with the leveling people!

Evolution:
In a battle, while Rp'ing or while training, if having the needed lv to evolute you may evolve your pokemon.

IF YOUR POKEMON HAS 3 EVOLVING STAGES:
From small to moderate (first evolution)- lv15
From moderate to adult (second evolution)- 30lv

IF YOUR POKEMON HAS 2 EVOLVING STAGES:
From small to adult - 30lv

Pokemon that evolve three times are usually the strongest although not always. Lets take a Gyarados for example. Get it? It is required that you have common knowledge that a pigeot is probably not stronger than a suicune, that has no evolutionary stage at all. You know how it goes..

Capturing Pokemon:
Capturing a pokemon may proove to be more difficult than it looks. Check the first page of certain topics to see the list of cachable pokemon and their levels in that area. As in the game- use pokeballs and RP out your capture. After youre done typing simply go to the "Capture registration" forum and post your link to the topic you caught that pokemon in. The admin responsible for the forum will check it and either approve or deny your capture. Good luck! ANd try making your catching posts as long and descriptive as possible. POKEMON CAPTURED IN THE WILD WILL START OUT WITH NO MOVES.

Fighting:
The fighting system is based on RP to make it more intersting. Your pokemon may use the moves it knows. The pokemon may follow command or improvise some on its own. There are a few important notes though:

This is not the card game or the computer game. Any realistic aspects, laws of physics and so forth have to be upheld. Not like a Pikachu can send a Tyranatar flying from a tackle. Or a Snorlax catching a running Houndoom. You get it. All weaknesses and resistances do apply. NO move is "undodgable". You'll have to create a certain situation RP'ing that would make the move very likely to hit. Negative conditions and buffs are tweaked to fit an RP forum anti-godmod policy and will be described below. Switching out pokemon is allowed, but no healing with items. At all. Your pokemon may do up 'till three moves in one battle IF you can make it logical in a RP sense.

Buffs, debuffs and condintionals rules:
The number of posts your buff or debuff will last depends on the move's, that indulged the buff or debuff, rank:

Easy [40-25PP]= for one post
Normal [20-15]= for two posts
Hard [10PP]= for three posts
Ultimate [<5PP]= for four posts

This goes for any other buff or debuff. Moves that are pureply meant to debuff such as sleep spore WILL ALWAYS be done succesfully (if the spores hit the opponent that is, you get the logic there), but can only be used three times in battle. And no, you cant use sleep spore three times- then sing three times. You get the logic there too. And please note that the whole thing works in this way post wise (this example is with an EASY debuff move "sleep spore"):

player1 uses sleep spore----> player2 is hit by the spores and is thusly affected by the sleep debuff, then counters (or not) under the influence of the debuff---->player1 defends/presses attack---->player2 is no longer affected by sleep and responds accordingly.

Debuffs:
Sleep-the victim becomes sloppier and has a hard time to react for the certain amount of posts.

Burnt-the victim will recieve damage throughout the fight for a certain amount of posts, meaning LESS time on the battle field is spent fighting with this pokemon. Apply weakenesses (for grass pokemon for example). External physical torture.

Paralyzed-The victim's movement becomes quite more limited for an amount of time.

Poisoned- Causes nausea and fever. Meaning less energy and strength to do special moves througout the certain amount of time. Apply weaknesses. Count it as a grass element. Internal physical torture.

Confused- Not only does it make it harder to move or think, but it also causes mental stress in a sense. Thusly, for each move the pokemon does, your pokemon will be mentally tortured and grow more and more tired. Best to stay calm and try and defend until the effect is gone.

Note: Debuffs such as "flinched" are yet to be intergrated. until then- it doesn't exist! Attacks that "may" infilct a debuff as they did in the game (fireblast might burn the opponent) WILL infilct that certain debuff if landed succesfully. For example if someone gets hit by fireblast and survives, that someone WILL be burned for 4 posts (since its an ultimate move) and so on. MOves that are ONLY meant to inflict a certain debuff such as sing can only be used three times as mentioned before.

Buffs:
Any move that buffs your pokemon's strength, speed, defence all apply during RP and can give you the needed boost to pluck out the victory. Buffs such as double team that significantly increase the evasion of your pokemon are allowed, however be reasonable just to how much significant that boost really is. Do not overdo it with your buffs or they'll end up banned. Buffs can be done up till 5 times in batte, so choose wisely. Buffing the same buff two or more times (multi-buff) does make it more effective, but it doesn't make the time of the buff grow any longer. Also, you can only multi-buff if you do them right after another. As in harden>harden>harden>fight!

Conditionals:
Conditionals are attacks such as Miracle eye. Attacks that create certain conditions for the user or the opponent. Wether it's status swaps, element changes- its all conditionals. They can be used up to 3 times in battle. Choose wisely.

Godmodding:
When playing or fighting in RP, please note that admins and monds can't always watch you. So please know the limits of your pokemon. Apply the weaknesses. Do NOT i repeat, DO NOT make your pokemon invincible just because you dont want to loose. Godmodding is strictly forbdden and will be punished...severely.

Stats:
Please rememeber to check the pokemons natural status. as in speed, strength ect. That way you will know how to have an upper hand. You can find these status in the pokemon official website pokedex. Note that they DO have an influence. For example the pokedex says that the speek of analakazam is greater than the speed of a ryhorn. This way we will know FOR SURE which pokemon is faster. You get the picture. But ibn no way are sats the most importan thing. Just because a Garchomp has a total of more stats points than an arcanine, it doesn't mean he's a sure winner. Try not to use arguments such as "my stats are higher" or "my level is higher". Its about the skills of RP.

Pokemon abilities:
You may now use pokemon abilities of your pokemon. Please note that we might have to ban some if they're too god moddy. BUt so far we're all good.
